Explore the Vinschgau Valley with the Mountainbike

The Vinschgau high mountain bike route, from the source of the Etsch on the Reschenpass as far as Lana by Meran is split into different stages leading to a fascinating/challenging biking  experience. The 200 km route combines existing and  new biking trails, old irrigation channels (watercourses) and connecting routes between the different valleys. The Vinschgau mountainbike trail  leads through a natural habitat showing vegetation that couldn’t be more divers. The trails on the Sonnenberg and the Noerderberg with rich flora from steppe grasses and herbs provide an incredible panorama of the highest mountains in South Tyrol and across the valleys.

3. day: Mals - Tanas, ca. 45 km/1500m up/down

4. day: Tanas - Goldrain, ca 25 km/900m up/down

5. day: Goldrain - Kastelbell, ca.25 km/1100m up/down

6. day: Kastelbell - Naturns, ca.25 km/1350m up/down

7. day: Naturns - Lana, ca 40 km/1400n up/down

8. day: Taxi from Lana to Reschen
